Laurel Park, our "Town on the Mountain," was incorporated in 1925 and has an intriguing, somewhat unique history. The town and the Friends of Laurel Park have placed historical markers around the community to describe points of interest, both of things present and things that are no more.  Here, we'd like to highlight those places where historical markers have been placed and perhaps expand on their stories. As you walk or drive around town, take time to notice the markers, read them and appreciate our nuggets of history.
